There are many places available these days to go and get your nails done. However, some of us prefer to do this work at home instead of going into a nail salon. Let’s learn how it can be done without damaging our nails. Fortunately, you don’t have to go to a nail salon in order to get proper nail care. You can take care of the basics on your own. It just takes some time and few simple tools and the desire to do something to care for your nails.
List of necessary things:
Nail Clippers: These are the standard nail trimming tools that everyone needs. Nail clippers are relatively inexpensive and you should always get the best quality of clippers, because it is very important. A good quality pair of nail clippers will cost you less that US $10 and will serve you very long. A good nail clipper will cut cleanly without needing to exert a lot of pressure. Poorly made or dull clippers can end up tearing the nails and can lead to problems (not to mention pain) if the nail tears into the nail plate.
Nail File or emery board: Another inexpensive thing is a nail file. These are used to pare down and shape the nails as desired, and to smooth the edges of the nails after clipping. The nail file can be metal and designed to last a long time, or plastic coated with grit for durable wear.
Nail Brush: This is a small brush with short bristles designed to clean into the grooves at the sides and under the free edge of the nail. It is useful for removing dirt and debris that gets into the crevices at the tips of the fingers.
Cuticle Pusher or Orangewood Stick and cotton balls with lotion: The cuticle pusher is a tool designed to slide the cuticle back from the nail plate. In the normal course of growth, the cuticle can extend onto the nail plate and become bothersome. Many cuticle pushers come with a rubberized tip to gently buff away dead cuticle skin from the nail plate. Orangewood sticks are disposable wooden rods that are cut at an angle to provide a tapered flat edge for pushing back the cuticle. Both cuticle pushers and orangewood stick should be wrapped with a small amount of cotton before using, and a small amount of lotion should be applied to the cuticle.
Use can also use sanding block for smoothing out ridges in the surface of the nail, cuticle oil to keep the cuticle soft and healthy, nail buffer and buffing cream or buffer stick.
Clear nail polish ( all coats) You can apply nail enamels for shine of the nails, or add a stylish and shining nail polish.
At last it comes! I talk about wedding season. Every modern bride knows that nails are important part of that big day. French manicure and classic pink or natural colors are popular choices. If you want natural or white nail you can add a little bit of color, choose a color that is already in your wedding bouquet or in your dress. For example, if your colors are pink and green, then you could choose to have either pink or green tips on your nails.
But if you think you want something special 3d nail art with rhinestones is just for you. French manicure was always been classic. Since its appearance “white tips” have become favorite because of its versatility; this is the only style that fits with just any bridal style. The French manicure is elegant and becomes breathtaking when embellished with decorative nail art. French manicur with 3d is best combination for this year.

Glittering Rhinestones that were originally made from rock crystals are now also made from glass and acrylic. Due to its glistening effects, rhinestones have found now extensive applications in nail art, and other fashions besides being used as imitation diamonds in jewelries. In fact, with the ever-rising popularity of nail arts, rhinestones are being used for almost all the different types of nail arts and nail designs including acrylic and artificial nail art, gel nail designs and many more elegant nail art styles.
Rhinestones are basically glass pieces covered in metallic paint that has reflective properties, making the glass to appear just like a diamond or some other precious gem. Of course rhinestones don’t inherit the diamond’s hardness and value, however we use them for the appearance, not for prestige. Applying rhinestones to nails complicates the nail design a bit, as certain glue has to be used as well as skill and precision for proper placement without errors.
Nails designs 2011 feature many nail designs with rhinestones, most of which are typically used for special occasions such as a wedding, birthday. There are quite a few bridal nail designs with diamond-like rhinestones or pearls. These nail designs are also popular among celebrities that make an appearance at an important event.
