Kate Middleton’s Wedding Day Nail Polish
Kate Middleton‘s manicurist Marina Sandoval spoke to the Daily Mail exclusively to reveal the exact shades of polish she blended for the royal bride’s wedding day look: Bourjois So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Enamel in Rose Lounge, a barely there pink sold only in the UK, and Essie Allure, a sheer beige tone. ”Catherine wanted something very natural and I felt these matched her skin colour beautifully. She wanted something off-white and bridal, so these were absolutely perfect,” Sandoval said. “She was very pleased with the result and told me that it looked beautiful and elegant.” Sandoval’s services—which also included a luxury soak, exfoliation and deep tissue massage—were arranged by Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Bowles, as a pampering wedding day treat. Looks like Kate is already part of the family!
Kate Middleton’s Nickname Becomes Nail Polish Shade
Hello Will-and-Kate-watcher, congratulating you because there’s a new royal wedding-themed item that might be right up your alley.
This March, Butter London will release a glittery new shade – with a nod to Kate Middleton’s long-awaited nuptials. It called “No More Waity, Katie.”.
The limited-edition nail laquer is grayish-blue and glitter-infused, according to Nonie Créme, Butter London’s creative director. And of course, it gives a cheeky nod to Kate’s pre-engagement nickname, “Waity Katie.”
The nail care company, a cult favorite that prides itself on selling chemical-free products, will ship the nail polish internationally. It will retail for $14.
Pre-ordering for “No More Waity, Katie” will begin March 15, and the product will be available in the U.S. in April.
Wonder if “Katie” herself might use the shade on her wedding day nails …
